Alanna Vella currently serves Executive Networks as Network Director for the Global Talent Innovation Network (GTIN), the Chief Learning Officer Network (CLON), the Talent and Leadership Development Forum (TLDF), and the Senior Leaders HR Forum (SLHRF). Her focus is working to provide HR Senior Leaders with the most efficient and effective approaches and technologies for staying connected and benefiting from external peers. Alanna is inspired by the “Endless Fountain of Knowledge” from the methods of connecting the members and helping them develop themselves and their businesses through the innovation of networking.
Alanna grew up in Grand Cayman where her mother founded the first school for the handicap and special needs children. Her early career was in Hospitality Management, living in a few different Caribbean Islands. She migrated to the HR world by working in the Organizational Development Function at BAE systems. In that capacity she managed several Global High Potential Programs, Developed a Global mentoring Program and worked on the High Potential Assessment Centers. Alanna received an award for Excellence in Human Resources with her work in the facilitation and management of the High Potential Assessment Centers. After receiving her PMP, she worked as a Program Manager in the Satellite industry for 4 years traveling on a special assignments to places like Amman, Jordan. She has developed programs and processes for several UN Projects and facilitated the training in Paris for internal staff and vendors.
Alanna promotes a healthy work life balance and strives to provide the tools that can help manage stress more effectively and thereby, help people live more satisfying and rewarding lives. She believes that personal health and wellness means being able to do whatever you want to do at the level you want to do it. She has participated in Local Cross Fit, Kickboxing and currently Orange Theory Fitness Programs and events to encourage her goal. Alanna has a BA Degree in Business Administration from University of South Alabama.
