Following a distinguished career as President & CEO of The Human Resource Planning Society (a global strategic network of HR Thought Leaders and Practitioners) as well as a practitioner’s experience in retailing and Industrial Relations, Walt’s interest is in helping organizations achieve success by leveraging the powerful nexus between strategy and people and building a framework that supports business goals, engages the entire workforce and delivers results.
Walt’s knowledge and expertise is on an international scale. His current focus is on HR Global issues and perspectives particularly the nature of Global Leadership, having moderated a meeting for the Najafi Global Mindset Institute in 2011 on Developing Leaders for Global Roles as well as co editing a special Global Issue for the HR People & Strategy Journal. He has recently presented and shared his insights at the India CLO Summit in Mumbai in November, 2012 and was a keynote speaker at the TATA Business Excellence Conference in Bangalore in December, 2012. Walt also serves on the India Summit Advisory Board.
